How to Do Brutalities in Mortal Kombat 1
To do brutalities in Mortal Kombat 1, you need to open the moves list, open the the advanced view of the brutality, and read the notes.
For example, to perform the “Just A Nibble” Liu Kang brutality, you need to press back + forward + X, jump from a distance, hold down on the d-pad during the hit, and the final hit must come from Dragon’s Tail.
Here’s how to do a brutality in MK1:
- Open the moves list and select “Finishers”.
- Navigate to the brutality that you want to perform under “Brutalities”.
- Switch to “Advanced View” of the brutality (press square for PS5).
- Read the notes in the advanced view for additional information on how to perform the brutality correctly.
Note #1: Certain brutalities of certain characters are not working/bugged in MK1 and WB Games are currently investigating it (source: mortalkombat1.bugs.wbgames.com/bug/MK1-107).
Note #2: If you can’t perform a character’s brutality no matter how many times you try, it might be bugged and you need to wait for an MK1 update that fixes it.
