To fix “Switch to YouTube.com”, you can try clearing YouTube’s cache or updating the app.
You can also try to update your device or download an older version of YouTube from a third-party site.
Fix 1: Clear YouTube’s cache
- Open the Settings app and tap on “Apps”.
- Tap on “Manage apps” and search for “YouTube”.
- Select “YouTube” and tap on “Storage”.
- Tap on “Clear data” and “Clear cache”.
- Open the YouTube app to see if the issue is fixed.
Fix 2: Update YouTube
- Open the Google Play Store and search for “YouTube”.
- Select “YouTube” and tap on “Update”.
- Open the YouTube app to see if the issue is fixed.
Fix 3: Update your device
- Open the Settings app and scroll down.
- Select “Software update”.
- Tap on “Download and install”.
- Open the YouTube app to see if the issue is fixed.
Note: The YouTube app requires Android phones and tablets to be running version 7.0 or above to work.

- Go to youtube.en.uptodown.com/android/versions.
