In some cases, these links might not be embedded into Discord.
In this guide, you’ll learn how to fix Twitter/X links not embedding, displaying, or playing on Discord.
How to Fix Twitter / X Links Not Embedding On Discord
To fix Twitter/X links not embedding on Discord, you can try using a different link format (e.g. fxtwitter.com instead of twitter.com).
You also need to ensure that you’ve enabled the “Show embeds and preview website links pasted into chat” option on Discord.
Fix 1: Use a different link format
- https://www.x.com/username/status/link.
Note: Replace the first part of the link with “x.com”, “twitter.com”, “fxtwitter.com”, or “vxtwitter.com”.
Fix 2: Show embeds and link previews
- Open the Discord desktop app and log in to your account.
- Click on the settings icon next to your avatar.
- Select “Text & Images” under “App Settings”.
- Enable “Show embeds and link preview website links pasted into chat”.
