To fix “Your profile was signed out” in Modern Warfare 3, you can try going offline and going back online on Steam.
You can also try clearing the Steam download cache, changing your game voice channel, or verifying the integrity of game files.
Fix 1: Go offline and go back online
- Open Steam before you launch Modern Warfare 3.
- Select “Steam” on the top left corner.
- Select “Go Offline…”.
- Select “Steam” on the top left corner again.
- Select “Go Online…”.
- Launch Modern Warfare 3.
Fix 2: Clear download cache
- Open Steam and select “Steam” on the top left corner.
- Select “Settings” and select “Downloads”.
