Here’s how to record Roblox with OBS (step-by-step):
- Launch a Roblox experience: Open the Roblox app and launch an experience.
- Download OBS: Download OBS, right-click, and select “Run as administrator”.
- Add a scene: Click “+” under “Scenes”, name your scene, and select “OK”.
- Add a Display Capture device: Click “+” under “Sources” and select “Window Capture”.
- Select the Roblox window: Select “Roblox” (e.g. [Windows10Universal.exe]: Roblox) from the dropdown box and select “OK”.
- Record the video: Select “Start Recording” to start recording Roblox!
- Change your hotkeys (optional): Select “File”, select “Settings”, select “Hotkeys”, and change the “Start Recording” and “Stop Recording” to any hotkey (e.g. F9).
- Change your recording format (optional): Select “File”, select “Settings”, select “Output”, and change the “Recording Format” to “MPEG-4 (.mp4).
