Meta-owned Instagram, the famous Meta-owned photo and video-sharing app, is reportedly working on a new feature that allows users to share other user’s profiles on Stories.
The upcoming feature, which was spotted by Alessandro Paluzzi, a well-known tipster and app developer, allows you to share another profile on your Instagram Story and invite your followers to check out and follow the shared profile/page (via Wccftech).

According to Paluzzi, the new feature will work similarly to the existing “Add to Story” function. He also added that the feature would be simple and easy to use, as choosing this option will allow users to add others’ profiles and share them in their Instagram Stories.
Further, the forthcoming feature would be particularly useful for content creators, influencers, and small businesses who want to promote or boost their page or product to increase the visibility of their secondary profiles and attract more followers.
In addition, the screenshot shared by Paluzzi also shows that Stories will display a “View Profile” button to invite viewers and follow the mentioned profile.
There is not much information about the feature, but we can expect it to be available to all Instagram users in early 2024. Watch this space for more updates, as this is a developing story!
