Juno Pose Sabrina Carpenter Meaning

Sabrina Carpenter’s album, Short n’ Sweet blends in playful pop with mature themes.

Tracks like “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” capture her flair for humor and wit.

On the other hand, songs like “Juno” are more explicit—and contain playful s*xual innuendos.

If you’ve been scrolling on TikTok, you might have seen clips of Sabrina Carpenter’s concerts.

Clips of her posing provocatively went viral on TikTok, garnering millions of views.

Without context, you might not know the meaning behind the Juno pose and why Carpenter does it.

Juno is one of the songs for her sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet, co-written by Amy Allen and John Ryan.

Although mainstream reviews were positive, some critics described it as “Raunchy” and “S*xually charged”.

The song, Juno, is based on the 2007 film Junom directed by Jason Reitman and written by Diablo Cody.

It tells the story of a high schooler named Juno MacGuff who faces an unexpected pregnancy.

Her pregnancy serves as the main storyline, reflecting her path toward self-discovery and adulthood.

In Juno, Carpenter describes the song as being in love and dreaming about starting a family with her partner.

In blatant terms, the song is about impregnation—the desire to become pregnant.

The lyrics “Let you lock me down tonight” and “One of me is cute, but two though?” are innuendos for it.

Before performing the song, she will pass handcuffs to an audience member while showing an “Under arrest for being too hot” alert.

Cameos include Millie Bobby Brown, Rachel Sennott, Declan McKenna, and other celebrities.

While singing the lyrics, “Wanna try out some freaky positions? Have you ever tried this one?”, she poses a s*xual position.

These positions are known as “Juno poses”, which went viral on TikTok.

During a Spotify interview, Carpenter answered fan questions about “Short n’ Sweet”.

The first question was “Is Juno based on the film?”.

She answered, “That is the Juno I’m referring to. I’m not referring to Mount Juneau”.

Followed by, “Because some people have asked me, they’re like, are you talking about Mount Juneau?”.

And, “I’m like, no, it’s the pregnant one”.

Other questions include her transition from different albums and her most personal song.

@luffyfathom posted a clip of the pose with the caption, “New Juno position in Los Angeles!”.

It got over 3.6 million views, 400k likes, and 600 comments.

Here are some of the reactions, “She does that a little too good”.

“I saw a TikTok of someone taking their mom to it and forgot about the pose”.

One of her most viral poses was during her tour in Los Angeles.

@alyfabs posted the clip on 𝕏 and got over 15 million impressions and 150k likes.

The comments were mixed—some saying that it’s not appropriate and strange.

Others backed her up saying that her music isn’t meant for kids and that parents are responsible for preventing them from coming to her concert.

During her tour in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Charlottesville, Virginia, Carpenter gave a shoutout to Barry Keoghan, her boyfriend.

She changed the lyrics from “I hear you knocking, Baby, come on up” to “I hear you knocking, Barry, come on up”.

Juno is not the only adult-themed performance during her tour.

During the outro for Bad Chem, Carpenter performs different s*xual acts with male dancers.

@brinachem posted a clip of the outro and got over 1.2 million views.

Here are some of the reactions, “Sabrina cannot be doing this”.

“The awkward silence on the way home” and “Sabrina, I thought you were innocent”.
