Microsoft’s AI-powered chatbot, Copilot, is now available as a standalone service on Android, iOS, and iPadOS platforms. The Copilot app can be used on Android devices, iPhones, and iPads for free.
Microsoft Copilot Is Now Available On Android and iOS
For the uninitiated, Microsoft Copilot (earlier known as Bing Chat) is powered by the latest OpenAI models, GPT-4, which users have to pay for access to via ChatGPT and DALL-E 3. Like OpenAI’s ChatGPT mobile version, the Copilot mobile app allows users to write a question or a prompt and receive responses generated by AI (artificial intelligence).
“These advanced AI technologies provide fast, complex, and precise responses, as well as the ability to create breathtaking visuals from simple text descriptions,” reads the description of the Copilot app on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The AI chat assistant allows users to summarise text, draft emails and documents, compose stories, musical pieces, or scripts, create personalized travel itineraries, translate multilingual content, proofread, optimize, write and update job resumes, troubleshoot problems using natural language, and more. It can also produce images by leveraging its DALL-E 3 image creator technology.
“By combining the power of GPT-4 with the imaginative capabilities of DALL·E 3, Copilot not only enhances your design workflow, but can also bring your creativity to inspiring new heights,” the app’s description reads.
As per data provided by mobile intelligence provider data.ai (via TechCrunch), the Copilot app has been downloaded more than 1.5 million times across the world on both Android and iOS platforms.
You can download the Android app of Microsoft Copilot from the Google Play Store and the iOS / iPadOS version from the Apple App Store.
