With the release of the Messaging update on Instagram, new DM features are introduced.

- Open Instagram and tap on the direct message icon.
- Open the chat and type a message (e.g. hi).
- Tap on the search icon (before sending the message).
- Select the “Gift” effect to send the message as a gift!
