According to the Redmond giant, this paid version offers advanced AI capabilities, brings Copilot AI (artificial intelligence) skills to Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscribers, and new capabilities, such as the ability to create Copilot GPTs.

Features In Copilot Pro

Be it advanced help with writing, coding, designing, researching, or learning, Copilot Pro will allow individuals to upgrade their performance, productivity, creativity, and user experience due to AI features.

It will also offer Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscribers access to Copilot GenAI features across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote on PC, Mac, and iPad.

Besides Office integration, Copilot Pro provides priority access to OpenAI’s most advanced GPT-4 Turbo model, which Microsoft claims offers faster performance during peak times. In the future, Copilot Pro subscribers will be able to toggle between models to optimize their experience, depending on their preferences.

Further, Copilot Pro subscribers will get 100 “boosts” (accelerated image generation processes) per day with Image Creator from Designer (formerly Bing Image Creator), more excellent detailed image quality, as well as landscape image format.

In addition, Microsoft is bringing the ability to build your own Copilot GPT – a customized Copilot tailored for a specific topic from sets of prompts via its upcoming Copilot GPT Builder.

Interested users can subscribe to Copilot Pro for $20 per month/per user.

Besides the above Copilot Pro offerings, Microsoft also announced the general availability of its Copilot app for iOS and Android phones. In addition, it is also offering Copilot for Microsoft 365 to more types of commercial customers, particularly small and medium-sized businesses.
